We partnered with Joe Sweeney, county forester to map out a new trail on Otsego County Forest Land. The SUNY Oneonta Swim Teams – men’s and women’s – provided most of the muscle, and completed about 1.5 miles of new trail above Wilber Park. Despite cold temperatures and snowflakes drifting down, the students cheerfully and energetically raked, shoveled, sawed, moved logs and small downed trees, and lopped overhanging branches.
