Benefits of the Oneonta Susquehanna Greenway
May 5, 2002, was the occasion of a bird walk led by Andy Mason. That's Andy by the blooming apple tree pointing out a bird to the group. During the bird walk about 20-25 people were treated to a sight of 26 different bird species.

For those of you who enjoy birding, here are the birds seen by the group:

At points along the Greenway, people stop to eat, to drink and to shop. People who jog the Greenway after work can use area businesses for shopping and services before returning home.
